The CRL Rights Commission convened the Gauteng Traditional Health Practitioners Imbizo to confront systemic challenges in the sector and to strengthen the protection of individuals within sacred cultural and religious spaces.
The Imbizo produced a comprehensive set of resolutions focused on:

• Promoting ethical, safe, and accountable practice
• Protecting indigenous knowledge and sacred sites
• Advancing collaboration with government and communities
• Supporting the sustainable development of the sector
These outcomes mark an important step toward a professional, rights-based, and culturally grounded Traditional Health Practitioners sector.
