It is with great sadness that the CRL Rights Commission has learned of the passing of the former Chairperson of the CRL Rights Commission. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Conon Dr. Mongezi Guma, as well as to all those whose lives were touched by his leadership and service.
Dr. Mongezi Guma dedicated his life to promoting and protecting the rights of cultural, religious, and linguistic communities in our country. His unwavering commitment to unity, diversity, and social justice has left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
During these difficult times, his loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers. May they find comfort in the knowledge that his contribution to the advancement of human rights and social cohesion will never be forgotten.
