The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities has learnt with sadness about the passing away of Advocate Ashwin Trikamjee who was the President of the South African Hindu Maha Sabha and Board Director at the 1860 Heritage Centre.
Advocate Trikamjee was a source of wisdom, and guidance on a variety of matters related to peace, diversity, justice and coexistence within and among communities. He will be remembered for his strong ethical pursuit and commitment through which he endeavoured to ensure that no one is discriminated against or denied their rights and human dignity because of their religious or cultural beliefs.
The Commission extends its condolences to Advocate Trikamjee’s family, the interfaith community and many who have been touched by his life in one way or another.

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.
